When he was around six years old he and his friends used to steal makhan from others house. They all used to break the matkis of Gopis when they used to come back from filling water in those matkis. All the gopis used to complain about him to Yashoda ji, but even then he did not stop doing mischief. One day he was stealing makhan but he was caught red-handed, then Yashoda maa tied him to a mortar, but Kanha being Kanha he still didn't stopped there. One day Kahna was returning from stealing makhan, but his elder brother Balram ji tried to stop him, but he did not stop even then. Then Balram ji followed him and came to know that he was eating that makhan with monkeys.
